HIROMI INAYOSHI CI

Symbol mark is the epitome of CI (Corporate Identity) design.

It portrays the inner identity of corporations and other organizations. Hence,
CI design is symbol mark in itself. The symbol mark (CI) I, Hiromi
Inayoshi, create gives a shape to the identity of a corporation/organization
or an individual beautifully but minimally, and then develops into
a variety of Ci designs. It not only symbolizes their quintessence, which is
invisible and intrinsic, but also makes visible their future image.
That is indeed the real significance of symbol marks and CI designs created
by Hiromi Inayoshi.

Its Concept

I have visualized powerfully CI
Renaissance Committee, the enbodyment of
my thought and philosophy, by symbol-
izing the sign language. The logotype in Braille
is an abstract, in contrast to the concrete
symbol mark by photography. When both were
incorporated into one art work, an identity
design was born which had never existed in
history before.

Poster Series of CI Renaissance Committee

This poster series for Non-profit Organization
ALIVE with my symbolic illustration, together with
the one for CI Renaisance Committee, received
Gold Awards in the 76th Art Directors Club
New York, Advertising Poster Division. I feel very
proud and honored as the first Japanese to
receive two Gold Awards at one time.
